Public Speaking - Part 1: Writing the Speech
Advice will be given on:
Understanding your objective – deciding what you want to achieve
Preparation – researching and preparing the facts to target a particular audience
Writing – how to structure the talk
Performance – how to use vocal skills and body language to deliver the speech with confidence and conviction

Day Two

Public Speaking - Part Two: The Performance
The speeches will be recorded and analysed and played back

Managing Meetings
How to make sure meetings with staff, clients & colleagues are well-organized, informative & keep to time. This session will involve role-play & will be recorded, played back & analysed

Selecting wines to accompany different foods
Drinking responsibly

Coping with Difficult Situations
For this session delegates will be given scenarios that will involve role-play. The scenarios might involve:

Awkward clients
Problem colleagues

Earthquake!
This exercise will reveal how well individuals work as part of a team when planning a rescue strategy
